Résumé

Using several detailed examples, this article analyzes the implications of different conceptions of diversity at companies. The authors suggest adopting what they call a “learning and effectiveness” model, founded upon respect for differences and the development of new work practices by confronting different perspectives. They also offer several concrete tips on implementing this model.
