Tasha Eurich and her research team led a series of interviews among more than 5,000 people to better define the concept of self-awareness and draw an exact overview of the situation. The benefits of self-awareness clearly emerge: capacity to make better decisions, interpersonal relations of higher quality, more effective communication… Yet, the outcome is edifying: only 10 to 15% of the persons interviewed really meet the criteria that correspond to a lucid knowledge of themselves.
