This McKinsey Global Institute report aims at evaluating the long-term impact of the Covid-19 on the world of work. Its authors considered 8 labor markets—China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. They analyzed what sectors would be the most lastingly impacted. Supported by statistical data, they show how the pandemic has accelerated three major trends: teleworking, digitalization and automation. They analyze the challenges that should stem from them, both at macro- and micro-economic levels. An in-depth study that helps understand the ongoing mutations.
