This article describes the results of a survey of 2,000 senior executives on the quality of strategic decisions made in their companies. A dozen best practices are thus correlated with the degree of satisfaction with the results obtained. Several discriminating factors emerge from this analysis, in particular the importance of assessing execution capabilities.
