The climate crisis and the collapse of biodiversity are inseparable, even if the former tends to overshadow the latter. IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) and the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) combine their expertise and describe the links between these two problematics. Their conclusion: both are equally alarming, and must now be approached with a systemic perspective. An important message for companies, which must ensure that their actions on the climactic front do not lead to additional deterioration of the biodiversity situation.
