This book offers an analysis of the deeper trends connected with economic globalization. The commentary by Rodophe Durand, on the last page, proposes an analytical critique.
We recommend starting simply with chapter one, which offers a well-illustrated description of the topics covered by the book. For a rapid read, chapter 4 is indispensable, which examines the decline of nation-states and the rising power of regions able to integrate into the global economy.
Readers should then continue based on their centers of interest. We would like to draw particular attention to chapter 3, which underlines the challenge posed to macroeconomic theories, and chapter 6, which covers the topic of outsourcing.
