Summary

The volatility of the economic environment forces enterprises to reorganize increasingly frequently. According to the survey behind this article, 90% of the business leaders interviewed by BCG declared that they had to conduct a reorganization recently. But less than half considered it a success. Using the results of this study, the authors review six key success factors for reorganizations, such as the importance of aligning the new organization structure on the strategic objectives of the enterprise, or this of associating closely the top management to the transformation. A practical guide to ensure that nothing essential is omitted in the urgency or the confusion of a reorganization project.
