Corporate

Common Interest, Common Good

Should companies participate in nonprofit causes? This is a complex debate. For some, participating in philanthropic activities is natural for the good citizen corporation. For others, the best thing a company can do for society is to tend to business for profit. Common Interest, Common Good sheds a surprising, practical light on the issue. The authors present many examples of companies that created philanthropic programs while serving their own interests. They show us how nonprofit organizations and companies can form fruitful partnerships to the mutual benefit of all concerned.
